Delays expected on OK roads during state fair | News

While the State Fair of Oklahoma is just days away, officials with ODOT expect to have visitors from all over the state. However, those drivers may need to take a detour or two when heading to Oklahoma City.

In Canadian County, the left lane of eastbound I-40 is closed from US 270 near Calumet to US 81 near El Reno from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

Also, north and southbound US 81 is narrowed to one lane between I-40 and S.W. 29th St. in El Reno from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Near the Caddo and Canadian county lines, I-40 is cut down to one lane in each direction near the US 281 spur.

In Del City, east and westbound I-240 is narrowed to one lane between Douglas Blvd. and Sooner Rd. from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

In Perry, I-35 is down to one lane in each direction at US 64, while southbound lanes of I-35 are narrowed south of Guthrie at the Seward Rd. interchange.
