While it has been nearly two months since devastating wildfires ripped through our state, some residents and businesses are still picking up the pieces from the blaze.

While we have become aware of fish kills throughout local rivers and lakes, officials say the fish floating in some Stillwater lakes are not actually part of this natural life cycle. In fact, they say the creatures aren't dead at all.

Gov. Mary Fallin has declared a state of emergency for all 77 counties due to the extreme drought across the state.
